Tech specs and my involvement

Nando’s Qatar is an e-commerce food delivery application available on Apple Appstore Google Play store and also published on a web. It started with a very small team in 2019 with a high expectation. The team mimic’d their branding and the corporate site nav bar so it remains similar feeling when navigated from that. With such a small team, it has to be a hybrid app so we chose Ionic v6 and Capacitor as they work well together and we can complete the project quicker.
It was another colleague engineer who established all the core function at the beginning. Then it handed over to me after that. The key parts (functionalities or features) I committed almost 100% for this project are:
- Apple pay (with Doha bank payment gateway)
- Voice recognition for product search functionality
- Announcement pop-up
- Google Tag Manager (with Data layer) integration
- Insider app (analytics tool) integration
- SDK & Plugin upgrades
- Many small UI features
